When in use, you can make the red pointer follow the black pointer and point to zero at the same time, and then rotate the torque screwdriver for testing. Once the rotation stops, the black pointer will automatically return to zero, while the red pointer will stay at the maximum value just reached, which serves as a reserve. When you use it again, you must reset the red needle to the zero position.
