What is a web board?
In most cases, web boards are used to combine two media. One of the two media is usually vertical and the other is horizontal. This basically means that web boards are only boards used to connect two different materials together in a perpendicular way.
There are literally hundreds of different methods used to connect two materials to each other, either fusion such as welding or fastening. Regardless of whether the application is construction or mechanical, one of the most popular connection methods is the web board. The web board is also referred to as the T-converter in some applications due to the shape in which the pre-filled holes are available. The angle sides of the plate also generally eliminate the open corner of the connected materials. On the other hand, the shape of the holes provided for the application of fasteners to the materials is where it gets its nickname, the T-conctor. The nickname comes because the fastening elements run directly intothe center of the board and then straight across the upper flat edge of the connection device.
Web boardsare often a triangular shape with each corner of the triangle rounded. They are most often made of steel. This powerful material is selected to maintain the structural integrity of the connection.
The use of hardened steel for the production of web boards is essential due to the number of applications in which the plates can be used. Since the web board is considered to be a structural bond, it must be able to withstand strength tests and be evaluated to strength before it can be applied in any application, regarnevz, how small the project may seem. Some boards are made of hard plastic and are used to ensure connection and stability within plastic shelf units. In industrial, mechanical or design applications, howeverAlloy product.
In order to know which web board to use, the size of the materials should be taken into account. The material must be large enough to allow the web board to be applied at the intersection. The web board must also be large enough to provide sound structural support to the connected materials.
