What is Cement Mortar?

Cement mortar is a mortar made of cement, fine aggregate and water, that is, cement + sand + water, as required. Cement mixed mortar is prepared from cement, fine aggregate, lime and water. The two are different concepts, they are called differently, and they are used differently.

The strength grade of cement mortar and ready-mixed masonry mortar can be divided into M5, M7.5, M10, M15, M20, M25, M30

In construction engineering, one is the foundation and wall masonry, which is used as a binder for block masonry materials, such as masonry and red brick, cement mortar; the second is for indoor and outdoor plastering.

Note: Mixing ratio is for reference only
When using cement mortar, some additives such as micro-foaming agent and waterproof powder should be often added to improve its workability and consistency.
Concrete is added to the cement mortar in proportion to the stones.
Cement mortar label strength means a value of the overall distribution of the compressive strength measured by the standard test method for a cube test piece of 7.07CMX7.07CMX7.07CM made and cured according to standard methods at the age of 28 days.
No. 100 cement mortar means that its strength is 100 Kg / cm3, all of which have been changed to MPa, and No. 100 corresponds to M10. The mixing ratio varies according to different raw materials and mortar applications. Take the commonly used 42.5 ordinary portland cement and medium sand with 100 (M10) masonry mortar as an example: the proportion of mortar per cubic meter is 305 kg of cement: sand 1.10m3: water 183kg.
