What Is Explosive Forming?
A chemical explosion is an explosion caused by a chemical change. The energy of chemical explosion mainly comes from chemical reaction energy. The process and ability of chemical explosion changes depends on the exothermicity of the reaction, the rapidity of the reaction, and the generation of gaseous products. Exothermic heat is the source of energy for explosive change; fast is the limited energy concentrated in the confined space, which is a necessary condition for generating high power; gas is the carrier of energy and the working medium for energy conversion. - Due to the extremely rapid chemical reaction of substances, the explosion caused by high temperature and high pressure is called chemical explosion. The nature and composition of matter have undergone fundamental changes before and after the chemical explosion. Chemical explosions can be classified into three types according to the chemical changes that occur during the explosion.
(1). Explosives caused by simple decomposition explosion The simple explosive explosion does not necessarily cause a combustion reaction during the explosion. The heat required for the explosion is due to the decomposition of the explosive substance itself. Those that fall into this category are lead azide, silver acetylene, acetylenone, nitrogen iodide, and nitrogen chloride. Such substances are very dangerous and can cause explosions with slight vibration.
(2). The danger of explosive substances such as complex decomposition explosion is lower than that of simple decomposition explosive, and all explosives belong to it. When such substances explode, they are accompanied by combustion. The oxygen required for combustion is supplied when it is decomposed. Various nitrogen and chlorine oxides, picric acid, etc. belong to this category.
(3). Explosive Explosion of Explosive Mixtures All explosions of combustible gases, vapors and dusts and mixtures of air and mixtures fall into this category. Explosion of such substances requires certain conditions, such as the content of explosive substances, oxygen content and excitation energy. Therefore, although its danger is lower than the former two types, it is extremely common and causes more harm.
