What Is Low Smoke Zero Halogen?

Low smoke zero halogen , referred to as LSZH , LSOH , LS0H , LSFH and OHLS , is a material classification of wire sheaths in the wire and cable industry. The low-smoke halogen-free wire sheath is made of thermoplastic or thermosetting that has low smoke emission when heated and does not contain halogen itself.

Halogen is
A cable is a single component that connects two devices to transmit electrical signals, formed by bonding, twisting, or braiding two or more wires together. The cable has a wide range of uses and needs to be customized for each purpose. Its function is as large as a wire product that transmits electrical energy, electrical signals, and electromagnetic energy conversion.
Power cables are usually composed of a cable core that transmits power or electrical signals and a protective and insulating sheath. A thin cable with only one core is often called a wire . There are also some wires that are not insulated and are called bare wires . The core of the cable is made of a metal material with good electrical conductivity, usually copper (good electrical conductivity) or aluminum (lower cost).
In 1836, the world's first low-voltage (less than 600 volts) electrical power wire was wrapped with a copper wire external rubber band. [1]
