What is scaffolding?

The scaffolding is a temporary platform built to achieve heights above the range of weapons for the purpose of construction, maintenance or repair of building. It is usually made of lumber and steel and can move from simple to complex design, depending on its use and purpose. Millions of building workers, painters and crews of building maintenance work every day to scaffold and, due to the nature of its use, must be properly designed and used to ensure the safety of those who use it.

The Ministry of Security and Health of the US (OSHA) has very specific standards for the construction and use of scaffolding in the workplace, and many large commercial and government construction projects require all workers to have scaffolding and OSHA certification. Some OSHA regulations involve its construction include the use of specific types of timber when they do not use steel, weight restrictions on the basis of design and regular inspection of the weakened unorbous sections. OSHA places strict safety regulations on construction and bondLiving scaffolding not only to reduce serious injury or death in the workplace, but also to save employers with millions of lost time and compensation of workers. OSHA can issue fines for any society, large or small, which they consider to be violations of these regulations.

Commercial building construction is the greatest use of scaffolding, but also residential construction and improvement of home can sometimes require it. Professional painters are equipped with the quick and correct construction of these platforms at work, as well as other experts such as masons and carpenters. Unfortunately, many homeowners try to create a scaffold for personal use without the right knowledge, which often leads to injury. In order to avoid injury when trying to repair, paint or maintenance, it is important that the house knows how to correctly and safely build a platform that will provide a stable work area and wear HMOtested. People who are not sure how to construct or use scaffolds should consult with a professional supplier.
