Composite sideing is a building material used on the outside of households and commercial structures. This product, known as cladding, siding or weather board in different parts of the world, protects the interior of the building from water and other external elements. It also serves an aesthetic role and is available in a number of textures and materials to suit different decors and houses.

As well as other cladding products, composite tiles are installed so that it completely covers the exterior of the building and does not provide any water openings to enter the interior of the space. Clothing is available on boards or boards that can be layered horizontally or vertically. It is commonly sold in the form of shingles or cocktails, which are smaller sections similar to tiles that can be layered in different samples. Some composite siding products are sold in the form of large panels, which are mainly used on commercial buildings, or to cover signatures or trim sections in households.

During the tiles, it was traditionally made of cedar or pine, these materials can be expensive and are also susceptible to damage and thermit. The composite sidings are much less than the siding made of hard wood and also offers many other advantages. Some varieties of composite cladding are made of crushed wood or sawdust, with a glued agent added for strength. This product, known as an oriented Strand board (OSB), offers the appearance of solid wood for a fraction of the price. Like traditional wooden products, OSB is sensitive to moisture damage, but offers a higher level of protection against termites and rot.

Fiber cement board is another popular composite by -product. This material is made of cellulose fibers, sand and Portland cement and is one of the most durable and longest siding products on the market. Can be made to remind the wood but is much cheaper and typically overcomeAtch wood tiles on a number of factors. The cement plate of the fiber is highly resistant to fire, termites and water damage and has been held in shape with low maintenance over the years. This product can be purchased in many different colors and finishes and requires redrawing every ten years.

Despite many advantages, the fiber board also has a number of potential disadvantages. First, it is very difficult, which means longer and more difficult installation. Unlike wood cladding, the cement plate cannot hide irregularities in the framing of the building that can give the outer wall a bumpy or undulating appearance. It is a bad thermal insulator and does not do little blocking of sound transmission. Finally, the dust produced when cutting this composite by -product can cause breathing irritation and disease.
