Installation method of American wall panel:
1. Materials and tools for installation
American siding, skirtings, edge strips, tooth saws, 25mm finishing nails, hammers, nail punches, rulers, woodworker's combination squares, panel adhesives such as nail-free glue.
2. Install the baseboard. Measure and saw the exact length suitable for mounting on the wall, and check whether the surface is clean. Apply nail-free adhesive or similar panel adhesive in a zigzag shape before installation.
Install the siding on the wall to ensure that the groove line of the base line feet is facing up. Also use nails to strengthen it, and then check whether the base line is aligned horizontally.
3. Install the siding board and insert each siding board into the groove line of the base line pins, and fix the siding board to the wall with nails or adhesive. Starting from the inner corner, if you are right-handed, install from left to right and vice versa. The groove of each wall panel is for easier and tight installation, keeping the edge of the groove facing the direction of your installation. Set aside some space to maintain the elasticity of the slab, measure and fit the second siding closely, and the last siding may need to be trimmed to fit in.
4. Install the edge strips In order to complete the installation, ensure that all the wall panels are tightly fitted to the skirting lines. After precise measurement, the edge strip is placed on the upper end of the siding. The bottom end of the siding has grooves, which can be embedded in the siding. For easy installation, nail-free adhesive or similar panel adhesives are used for planking.
