Right!
The Czochralski technique is an important technique for drawing single crystals.
In fact, this technique is a method of growing single crystals from the melt, that is, a technique of slowly drawing large-diameter single crystal ingots from the melt with small seed crystals. The single crystals prepared by this method are called Czochralski [CZ] single crystals.
Most of the semiconductor silicon single crystals used today are produced by this method, and large-diameter GaAs single crystals are increasingly produced by this method.
