Method for cleaning and disinfecting curette
- Manual cleaning steps
- 1) After closed recovery, there are obvious blood stains and stains on the scraping spoons under running water, and the rust should be removed.
- 2) Soak in the cleaning solution for 3-5 minutes. When soaking, the curette is completely submerged.
- 3) Brush each part of the spatula separately with a brush under the liquid surface. When brushing, you should scrub according to the structure of the spatula.
- 4) Rinse with soft water, purified water or distilled water, and finally rinse.
- 5) Put it into a boiling tank and sterilize it. The temperature was 90 ° C and the time was 5 minutes.
- 6) Put the cleaned spatula into the drying box for drying. The temperature is 70-90 ° C and the time is 30-40 minutes.
- 7) Check the cleaning quality.
- 2. Ultrasonic cleaning steps
- 1) After closed recovery, there should be obvious blood stains and stains on the scraping spoons under running water, and the rust should be removed.
- 2) According to the shape and size of the pull hook, spatula, and probe, place them in the fine cleaning basket or general cleaning basket in order, protecting the tips.
- 3) Put the enzyme into the ultrasonic cleaner to clean it. The time is 3-5 minutes and the temperature is 35-50 ° C. A special basket is used for ultrasonic cleaning, and the spatula is completely submerged.
- 4) Brush all parts of the spatula under running water (should be done according to the structure of the spatula). Especially the spoon of the spatula should be scrubbed.
- 5) Rinse with soft water, purified water or distilled water, and finally rinse.
- 6) Put it into a boiling tank and sterilize by boiling. The temperature was 90 ° C and the time was 5 minutes.
- 7) Put the cleaned spatula into the drying box for drying. The temperature is 70-90 ° C, and the time is 30-40 minutes.
- 8) Check the cleaning quality.
- 3. Mechanical cleaning steps 1) After closed recovery, there should be obvious blood stains and stains on the scrubbing spoons under flowing water, and obvious rust should be removed.
2) According to the shape and size of the pull hook, spatula, and probe, place them in the fine cleaning basket or general cleaning basket in order, protecting the tips.
3) Place the cleaning basket in the proper position of the washing machine.
4) Start the curette cleaning program: pre-wash for 2 minutes, enzyme wash for 10 minutes, rinse for 2 minutes, heat sterilize for 20 minutes, and dry for 20 minutes.
5) Check the cleaning quality.
Quality standard for curette cleaning
- 1. Visual inspection The surface of the spatula is smooth, free of blood stains, stains, scale and other residual substances and rust spots.
- 2. The curette is complete without defects and deformation.
- 3. The structure of the curette is normal, without deformation, and remains functional.
Cautery spatula cleaning precautions
- 1. Do a variety of protection during the cleaning process and strictly implement standard prevention.
- 2. Use cleaning tools reasonably according to the shape and size of the spatula when cleaning.
- 3. Handle with care during cleaning, take care to protect the tip and prevent damage.
- 4. Manual cleaning or ultrasonic cleaning should be performed before mechanical cleaning to ensure the cleaning effect.
- 5. When brushing by hand, be sure to operate under the water to avoid pollution of the surrounding environment caused by aerosol generation and water droplet splashing.
- 6. Test its function before packing to keep it functioning well. [1]
Special purpose curette
- 1. "Needle" curette. The curette is a commonly used instrument in the dressing room. The existing curette has a single function and is convenient for treatment. It is easy to use a "needle-type" curette. This curette can be connected to various types of sterile syringes for scraping, aspirating, rinsing, and topical application of the lesion, or it can be used alone. For the treatment of cystic lesions less than 1cm in diameter, such as acne, no incision and drainage are needed, and no scars are left after healing. It is used for the scraping of small sinus ridges and the fine scraping of wounds. But the limitation of its application scope is its deficiency.
- Reverse flexion uterine curette
- 1) Structural characteristics of the appliance. The inverted flexion uterine curette is still composed of a handle, a rod, a spoon and a scraping blade. The front part of the spatula is bent by 30-40 °, and the scraper blade faces the curved outer arc surface, which is opposite to the direction of the original spatula blade.
- 2) How to use. Uterine curettes are only suitable for early pregnancy and diagnostic cases of extreme postflexion of the uterus after curettage. Preoperative gynecological examination is required to determine the thickness of the uterus, and the uterine cavity is probed with a uterine probe to confirm the diagnosis. After dilating the cervix, use a curved uterine curette to scrape the posterior wall of the uterus, and then use a reverse flexion uterine curette to scrape the anterior wall of the uterus. Scraping in the reverse direction of the uterine axis, the degree of scraping is clean. [2]
