What is a dental implant support?

The

dental implant is an integral part of dental implants. During the dental implantation, the support of the dental implant connects the titanium cylinder anchored in the jaw of the patient with an artificial crown. During the healing time during the dentist recovery, it provides temporary backrests so that no foreign materials enter the artificial cavity. Since there are four types of human teeth, there is a different type of backrest for each type. To ensure pleasant aesthetic quality, some of the abrasive abutments of dental implants from materials that correspond to the color of human teeth are produced. After anesthesia, the dentist drills the rubber and the basic bone. The dentist then inserts a titanium cylinder into the cavity. When the cylinder is hollow, a temporary dental implant is screwed to the upper part of the cylinder. The temporary support prevents infection and other complications by maintaining a cylinder closed during the healing process.

Patient requires three to six months of healingBefore the titanium cylinder grafted on the natural bones. During the second procedure, the dentist removes a temporary support and screws in a permanent dental implant. This support is usually made of titanium. To ensure that the new abutments remain in place, dentists generally apply the adhesive to the backrest before screwing it into the cavity. The last step is to place a permanent crown on the backrest and hold it in place with the same glue described above.

Since the human mouth has four types of teeth, a different dental implant is required for each. The size, shape and angle of teeth are needed differentiation. Fortunately, for patients, the implant procedure and the high rate of success for implantation, no matter what the teeth are.

Although dental implants are generally made of titanium, supports from different materials are available when the patient deals with the aesthetics of his mouth. This concern is most important for patients who need dental implants on their frontteeth. Zirconia is a standard replacement for titanium. Although it is not metal, Zirconia is an extremely hard substance that has the advantage of having the same color as natural teeth. Replacing Zirconia for Titan does not increase the chances that the dental implant will have complications or wear over time.
