What is Litegait?
Litegait® combines a free -standing C -shaped metal frame with an adjustable harness that supports people with varying degrees of inability to carry weight, vertical position, stimulating balance and walking training. Physiotherapists use this therapeutic equipment for the therapist on weight for patients of all age groups who are unable to stand or walk separately. The use of LiteGait® allows therapists to implement walking training in different environments.
The upper extension of the C-shaped frame has a suffix that safely holds a walking harness, while for U-shape mobility U to the lower extension. The medium frame consists of various handles' designs, providing the patient's stability and allowing a person to stand forward or back to LiteGait®. With a patient secured in the harness, the middle frame also telescopes up and down providing automatic lifting patients from lying or sitting to a permanent position. Harnesses come in different sizes Accommodate Patients from childhoodafter an adult population.
The harnesses used for a specific age range adjust for individual circuit using adjustable straps, so the LiteGait® harness conveniently supports the middle to lower spine. The straps rolled out from the bottom of the harness passing through the legs and attached to the bottom of the harness and provided support of the pelvic belt. Therapists usually combine walking, while the patient is in lying or standing position. The straps on the top of the harness and then connect to the Litegait® frame.
patients achieve the correct balance and position of position because the spine, firmly supported by harness, remains upright while the handlebars provides stability. Once the patient is attached to the device, the therapists use it to initiate, analyze and repair walking. When locked on site above a specially designed treadmill, LiteGait® promotes the patient's body weight while the runnerThe ribbon promotes the extending of the legs forward. Since the treadmill supports the movement of the legs, the hands of the therapist can freely correct the location of the legs or extend the legs along with the timing of each step.
with the instructions and supervision of a therapist may show adequate weight bearing and step ability to use LiteGait® as an auxiliary device for walking on the floor. As the balance, posture and weight of the weight deposits improve, patients can use modified devices. Various frames designs include mechanisms of safety and support model with independence and mobility of a conventional pedestrian.
Mobility researchers have designed and produced this device in the hope of improving the quality of life for many patients. Therapists use LiteGait® in hospitals, care homes and treatment centers, in an effort to improve mobility in patients who have brain or spine injuries, including the victim. The device allegedly increases the ability of patientssuffering from brain palsy, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.
