What is a dental titanium implant?

Titan dental implant is a screw -like pin partially inserted into the jaw to anchor the fastening of the artificial tooth. Titanium is one of the few materials that are firmly connected to the surrounding regenerative bone matrix. The implant procedure requires invasive surgery. Although it boasts 95% of success, an experienced team of doctors usually requires to avoid possible serious complications of this relatively expensive possibilities for replacing missing teeth. This phenomenon is called osseointegration. In 1965, the first dental Titan implant was successfully inserted into the human jaw. Until then, the only means of filling the gaps between the missing teeth was a structural prosthesis called the bridge, so named, because the artificial tooth was anchored in place with its two adjacent teeth. This procedure required partial destruction of two healthy teeth. This is shaped very much like the real tooth root. Are designed to provide an oral surgeon with the possibility of tooth extraction and inserting a dental implantfor titanium into one single procedure. Most screws are pure titanium, but cheaper and laboratory proven titanium alloys are increasingly used.

The careful decision of the dental team for the implant is mostly based on a detailed study of a three -dimensional X -ray scan or pictures from multiple angles of the jaw location. Critical criteria include apparent bone health, especially density. The shape, size, width and depth of the bone must be confirmed to be sufficient to adapt the implant. Identification for extreme camusages to be assured that it does not damage critical structures such as the nerves in the lower jaw and cavity of the upper jaw.

In a typical procedure, the dentist will adjust the opening and depth of the empty dental socket with a drill and be careful not to kill living bone cells with excessive drill heat. Titan's dental implant is screwed into a place with miniature torque calibrated to a fracture forceHuman bones. When sewn gums heal and the implant integrates with the bone, the protruding NUB titanium screw is covered with a cap called support.

When the tracking X -rays confirmed the successful grafting of the dental Titan implant, the support is removed. A larger lid is replaced, firmly screwed for permanentness. For the production of the artificial crown of the teeth, a form is formed to be fastened to this cap. Most people decide to make a new ceramic tooth. A softer, more kumle is recommended because the new tooth Budev direct contact with the jaw without the benefit of the natural tooth suspension.
