What is the CPAP automatic machine?

Automatic machine for continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), also known as APAP or Autopap, is a device used to treat sleep apnea. The CPAP automatic machine is designed to provide air pressure on the adapted, regularly modified level, while the traditional CPAP machine provides air pressure at a constant level. The automatic CPAP machine, like any CPAP machine, must be prescribed by a doctor. Sleep apnea prepares the body of oxygen, leading to a lack of quiet sleep, fatigue during the day and loud snoring. CPAP machines are one of the most common treatments for sleep apnea. They fit across the nose or through the nose and mouth and provide continuous air pressure to maintain open airways and facilitate breathing during sleep. It automatically titrates or adjusts the air pressure that is a minimum for each breath that is necessary to maintain the airway open. Traditional CPAP machines are titrated by a physician after observing the patientDuring sleep and determining the average air pressure level needed to keep the airways open during the night. Although the CPAP is not prescribed for a particular patient, it can be used overnight to help with the titration of the traditional CPAP machine.

The CPAP automatic machine can be more convenient than the continuous pressure model, as the air pressure remains low unless it is possible. For example, some of the suffering sleep apnea have difficulty breathing during the fast eye movement (REM) sleep and do not require high air pressure during the rest of the sleep cycle. The CPAP Machines can also have humidifiers with them to maintain the airway moisture.

While CPAP automatic machines are more sophisticated than conventional CPAP machines, they are not the best choice for every patient. It is important to determine one's specific needs through a discussion with a doctor. Neither type of CPAP machineIt is not inherently better or more efficient than the other in reducing complications of sleep apnea. The type of CPAP is usually the one that best solves the needs of a particular patient and provides him with the most comfortable sleep.
