What Is an Endoscopic Mucosal Resection?

Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) refers to the complete removal of diseased mucosa under endoscope. It is a treatment method developed by combining endoscopic polypectomy and endoscopic submucosal injection. It is an elective diagnosis Or radical surgery. Surgery is designed to diagnose and treat mucosal lesions by mass excision of part of the mucosa (depth to submucosal tissue).
