What is bhasma?

Bhasma is a type of traditional medicine that has been practiced in China, India and neighboring countries for hundreds of years. Bhasma is used to treat various diseases, are made by a combination of various ingredients, extract toxic elements of them, and then heating the mixture until only ash remains.
