What Is Multi-Family Therapy?
Multiple family therapy (MFT) psychotherapy. Group therapy. Raquel developed the characteristics of comprehensive group therapy and family therapy for schizophrenic patients in hospital in 1973. Refers to the organization of multiple families with similar problems, through discussions and other forms, so that each family learns from each other and learn from each other's weaknesses for psychological treatment. Raquel believes that families with schizophrenia feel isolated because they have schizophrenia in their home. The need for identification and acceptance is particularly strong. Organizing several families together can make each member of each family and other individuals Generate recognition and find solutions to problems. The resulting change is not empathy but identification, that is, the individual seeks to resemble others. [1]
