What is Petrolatum gauze?

Gasa petrolum is a lightweight cotton dressing, which is covered with a translucent substance made of oil. This type of bandage is used in hospitals and other health environments. It is an unadheric bandage that is widely used for different types of wounds.

Skin graft is one type of wound used by gauze petrolum. When a skin graft is carried out, a part of the healthy skin is removed from one part of the body and applied to the wound or burns to other parts of the body.
