How do I replace flute pads?

Flute is a Woodwind tool that creates a sound when the air stream is blown over the mouthpiece. This creates a vibration that results in a musical tone. The flute body has a number of holes that affect the sound of the flute when they are covered or uncovered. On the modern flute, the holes are covered with key closures, each containing a pad that fully blocks the air, although some older flutes also have finger holes. In order to replace the flute pads, the old ones must be removed and new inserted into key closures, then modified until everyone does not fit properly. Missing cushions are an obvious problem, because the flute will not play properly, but worn, aging or damaged pads can cause a number of finer sound problems. Once the pads are no longer properly sealing the air openings on the flute, they must be replaced.

Sometimes an old pad is lost, so there is no need to remove it, but if the old pad is still in place, it must be excluded from a key closure before it can be nAinstalling a new one. In general, the keys must be removed from the flute in order to access the inside of the key closures and replace Flutes. It is important to watch every screw, key and lever that is removed from the flute, so everyone can be returned to their correct place after replacement of pads.

Old flute pads are removed by removing the plastic button in the center of each pad and then lifting the old pad from the cap. Below the pads are cardboard pads used to align washers and make sure they fully cover the holes. Any worn pads should be replaced, then the new flute washer is located on the top of the pad and checked to make sure it is at the level. Some flutes have a screw under the pad that can be adjusted to the level, while others depend only on the subsoil. The plastic button then returns to the pad.

Once all pads are replaced, the keys should return to the flute and again zkto check to make sure they are at the level and fully close each hole. If not, the keys must be removed and modified again, either with a leveling screw or by adding or by removing the pad under the pad. Once all installed pads are installed and correctly cover the holes, the process of replacement of the pads is completed.
