What are bird mites?

bird mites, scientifically known as ornithhonysus bursa , are arthropods that are almost too small to be able to see without any magnification. They cause many inconveniences in the places they infest and create discomfort when they bite people. These types of mites are in the shape of an oval, have eight legs and are located anywhere bird nest. If there is a bird's nest on the roof and some opening wires appear inside the house, bird mites can find a way where birds leave the nest. This agrees that the population of birds will reach their size in a warm, humble climate. The mites are most attracted by pigeons, sparrows, stars and poultry. If the birds nest into the roof cavity, it is possible for mites to get into the house with broken tiles or cracks in wood, plaster or insulation. Bird mites live only about a weekly rapidly multiply, and the infestation can appear very quickly as soon as the arthropods get in.

Blood is essential for these mites to survive and reproduce, and cannot only live for too long by ingestion of human blood. It is their ability to feel warm, moisture and carbon dioxide that attracts them to people when no other food source is available. Symptoms of bird bite bite include itching or irritated or crying feeling on the skin. There may also be reddish skin inflammation and swelling, a reaction to the saliva of this tiny creature.
