What are coniferous plants?

Coniferous plants include members of the pinophyte division and are commonly trees and shrubs with an evergreen needle or scale leaves that produce seeds in cones. Wood is a structural tissue of conifers and most of them are very high plants made of soft wood with individual trunks that fill cold boreal forests in the northern hemisphere, although in almost all climate there are plants of conifers. Plants per conifers carry cones that achieve maturity anywhere from four months to three years and which can grow to 0.07 inches (2 millimeters) to 23 inches (58 cm) long. Cunges are often used in the production of paper and wood and, as a result, have a significant economic value. Conventional coniferous plants include pine, spruce, cedar, redwood, redwood, fir, larch and juniving.

According to fossil records, conifer plants on the ground grow on Earth for almost 300 million years. Plan conifers growing almost in universityEech climates from the Arctic Circle to subtropical areas and produce a resin that protects against sponge and insects. Some species can live extremely long lives, such as Bristlecone Pines, which can survive for 5,000 years in California and Nevada deserts. Other conifers are high similar to sequoia Sierra Nevada, which can grow in a height of more than 312 feet (95 meters). Others, such as Pygmy Pine in New Zealand, are bushes and at maturity reach a height of less than 3.15 inches (8 centimeters). In addition, there are some conifers such as Cypress, deciduous and needle leaves every year, while others don't.

coniferous plants are reproduced by attaching the seeds to the cone scale, which often fall to the ground. Once they are on the ground, they either decompose or open to release the seeds within them, which are then scattered by wind or small animals, including birds. Some species such as pine are usually released by a cones and a forest fire burns a tree that may occurOnly every few decades. Over pollination usually occurs when the pollen is released by the male cone into the female cone and fertilize a female gameter, resulting in the development of seeds. Male and female cones often occur on the same plant of conifers.

Many forests are inhabited by large trees of conifers, but there are many species that are also suitable for a home gardener or landscape painter. Garden coniferous plants are usually smaller shrubby dwarfs or miniature varieties with needles that move in color from green to yellow to blue and red. There are also many available shapes, including round or globes, prostrat plants that crawl along the ground, and the spread of conifers that are wider than high. In addition, some coniferous plants can be trained or trimmed to form different shapes.
