What are G-Suits?

Gravitational suits, also known as G-Suits, are specially designed clothing wearing airports who undergo rapid acceleration, such as fighter pilots and astronauts. The suits put pressure on the stomach and legs and prevent blood from running from the brain during acceleration. This process allows the wearer to withstand higher permanent gravitational forces for a longer period of time. G are measuring acceleration expressed in multiples of gravity. The results reveal the amount of stress located on the accelerating body due to inertia. One g is the strength of gravity on a person on the surface of the Earth.

The individual's resistance to G-force is based on several factors. In general, the average person can last between three and five permanent g before darkening, which is referred to as G-Induced Loss of Loss (G-LOC). G-LOC is due to a lack of blood flow to the brain and basically starved from oxygen. In order to give a lot of stress in the perspective, during a typical commercial flight, passengers would probably never experience morethan one and a half g, but fighter pilots could experience around nine g when they are based on a sharp dive.

G-suits usually consists of firmly fallen pants that contain inflatable bags. These bags are sensitive to the amount of G-Sina is developed and filled with liquid or pressure to prevent too much blood flow on the body axis. G-suits can be worn outside or inside the flight, depending on the model.

The first Go-Suit was developed by a team at the University of Toronto in 1941. Wilbur R. Franks, the team found that it could pose G-Sina's effects by wearing a garment consisting of a layer of water between two leaves of rubber. During testing, however, this system proved to be bulky and unpleasant. In 1944, the US Air Force and the Navy, in cooperation with Mayo Clinic and Berger Brother's Company, designed a new G-Suit model using compressed air, which was more successful. This model has become known JAKO Berger suit and later models tend to watch the same basic design.

In 2000, however, Swiss inventor Andreas Reinhard and the German company Autoflug developed a new style called Libelle G-Multiplus®. It is a suit with a full body made of hybrid material composed of Nomex® and Kevlar® flames, which passes through water -based liquid channels. As the forces of G-stems increase, liquid channels are downloading and pulling the materials with them together with them and effectively acting as a vice. This model was successfully Tested to up to 12 g.
