What are the jump shoes?

Jump Boots are specialized shoes that were first designed for the use of paratroopers of the United States Army (USA) during World War II. The shoe, also referred to as a paratrooper shoe or corcoran, was specially designed with a parachute operation. For example, the heel of the shoe was chamfered to prevent potential snags on the parachute lines, and the jump shoe was fully attached from the signs to the top, unlike the ankle to the top lace of this era to provide additional support for Parachuta.
