What are the pearls?

Pearly differs from other gems in that they are not mined from the rock, but rather harvested from molluscs - especially oysters, although they are known to produce them. In principle, the pearl is produced when irritation such as sand is caught inside the oyster. To protect yourself, the oysters exclude a substance similar to mucus that accumulates around the sand and hardens.

It is a long and tiring practice to find oysters that enjoyed a piece of sand to produce pearls. The longer the pearl remains inside the oyster, the greater it becomes. For this reason, high quality are considered rare and can be quite expensive. Fortunately, for those who prefer this jewel, there are now farms that deliberately injure them into molluscs. These are known as sophisticated pearls. Sometimes there will be one darker shade, either gray or black. As their name suggests, these creatures are found in rivers and lakes rather than in the ocean. In contrast to oyster, shells can produce more than onepearl at a time, sometimes up to 40 or 50. They come in different shapes and sizes.

6 These are created using a little sand or shell along with a fish -based product called Hermage to act as a replacement for oysters. Other synthetics include "glass" pearl, bead painted with hermage and left dry and hardened. Have little or no value.

Pearly are considered classic and elegant. Often they are the first choice for wedding jewelry and have a reputation to look good with any clothing, even the informal ones. Also, CANB also include a class and elegance in the most formal wardrobe. Individuals who are considering buying jewelry that include them should do some research to find the type of pearls best suited for the needs and budget of the person.
