What are the notes on the line?

Line Notes are more information and lyrics provided by a musical album. This information was provided in different ways because the music media has changed. Originally, these notes were provided on the inner insert for a vinyl album from which they continue to take their name. With the development of audio cartridges and compact discs (CDS), these notes were provided with tape or CD in a small folding brochure that contained pictures and text. However, as music formats are increasingly digital, physical notes are needed by a line decreasing and many artists have started to provide notes such as digital files and on the website. These records were usually singles that can be purchased individually or as collections, and such collections consisted of "album" recordings with notes and information between some records. However, the "liner notes" comes from 78 RPM records to 33-1/3 RPM records that could have the entire album on both sides. These records wereY Available in sleeves in which thin inserts would protect the record itself, and the notes on these inserts often contain information about musicians or ads for other albums.

As the music transferred from 33-1/3 vinyl records on sound cartridges and CDS, the notes in the line continued to provide. These notes were often available as a small brochure folded in the inside of the front cover for a cassette or a CD case. Given that these brochures provided much more space for information, recording companies and musicians could provide texts, comments from artists and other information in the notes of lining. Further information was also provided, because the motivation to persuade people to buy the album Thei already had vinyl like a CD.

, however, the music media continues to evolve and change, so that the line notes have also begun to evolve and were provided in different ways. DigitalRY can be provided with an audio CD or as a download that provides all the information that would accompany the physical disk. Many artists and recording companies also began to provide notes on the line on their website, either by downloading files or simply as a website. There are also some websites that have been created as collections of notes from various artists and albums for many decades of music.
