What are the Lucite® framework?

LUCITE®, sometimes called acrylic glass, is plastic. It is relatively easy to produce and shape into any shape and is therefore a popular material for various household products. It is an unusually transparent, clear plastic, even used for high -precision optical applications such as glasses and monuments of military weapons. For these reasons and more, some are considering Lucite® images one of the best ways to display art and other objects.

also marked under other names such as Plexiglas®, Lucite® is chemically, polymer or long chain of polymethylmethakrylate compound (PMMA), first in 1928. Petroleum and a lighter alternative to the glass. Functionally, it is less durable than one. Lucite® is fragile and easily scratched, chemically more stable, but fragile and less heat resistant.

LUCITE® are also isile pages. Scratches in Lucite® can be removed by heat; It can be easily cut and polished. Some solvents such as adhesives can easily dissolve plastic to allow smooth adhesive with yinLucite® pieces. At temperatures deep below the boiling point of water, it can be extruded, injected or compressed to any required form. Commercial leaves are produced in thicknesses of 0.12 - 0.79 inches (3 - 20 mm).

Crystalline transparency is generally considered to be the most desirable feature of Lucite®. Through it, up to 90 percent of visible light passes; Less than 4 percent of light reflects its surface. The dramatic depiction method is the coverage of acrylic resin, in which an object such as insects souvenir is suspended in the calendar block LUCITE®. The same principle is popularly used for the same dramatic effect in Lucite® images that sandwich a photo or pain between two leaves of folded or glued acrylic. Without any peripheral frame, such as ornamental wood or metal, and mounted on the wall with a spacer, they create bright frames of Lucite® convincing illusion of magical suspension of art partand in space.

There are other features that prefer Lucite® frames. It filters ultraviolet (UV) light at approximately the same efficiency as conventional glass. UV light is a unique enemy of colored pigments and archive glass and acrylic are usually coated with substances to improve the absorption and blocking UV. Compared to the glass, Lucite® is half thick and has almost tripled its impact force. Of course, for manufacturers with transport liabilities and weight costs, LuCite® image framework is of course preferred.

These are important factors for the buyer's framework that needs to be considered. The large image mounted on the weak walls exposed to random impacts prefers the frames of Lucite®. Visibly, almost indistinguishable from glass and unlimited from pairing with material and design of its outer frame of the perimeter. Own shapes are also easy to create. From tripod pedestals for porcelain to free standing wallets in the letter L-shaped, advertising signs with high height T-T-ShAPED, after a valuable three -dimensional fabric art size of the wall, is LuCite® a versatile display.
