What are the chimneys of oil lamps?

The oil lamp was a clip in many homes and provided a stable and relatively bright light. Oil lamps in modern times are often used as decorative accents and as emergency lighting. Oil lamp chimneys are glass rollers that fit on the oil lamp wick, allowing the flame to darken brighter and protect it from immersion.
