What are Polka dots?

Polka dots are a pattern, either regular or random, circles or dots that can be of different sizes or all uniforms. Polka dot patterns come in a wide range of color combinations, which are limited only by imagination. Polka dots are not closely associated with Polka music, but it is assumed that they are named after music, because at the end of the 20th century both were part of British culture. Larger, colored polka dots are often considered capricious and entertaining and can be associated with children's decorations, Easter eggs and clown costumes. Smaller dots of polka dots are often considered to be more hard and are still found on subjects such as men's ties, decorative textiles for home and some women's dresses.

Marilyn Monroe had polka dots on some of her dress and the character Minnie Minnie Minnie wears polka dots on her clothes. Bob Dylan is known for wearing black and white pole on shirts in a few decades. Gwen Stefani, Paris Hilton, Carmen Electra and Sarah Jessica PArker was photographed on a stylish polka. Dress, shirts, shoes, handbags and rain shoes are just some of the items you can buy a polka.

Probably the most famous song about polka dots is "Itsy Bitsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka dot biki". The song was made by Brian Hyland and wrote Paul Vance and Lee Venkriss. In 1960. It was the song number one in the United States.

plant, Hypoestes phyllostachya , is known as the plant Polka dot. It is a small green plant with pink spots that look like polka dots. The plant is also available with white or Red Polka dot-like spots. It is often used for boundaries around flower beds or container gardens to add color and pattern.
