What are the garments?

Preshrunk garments are objects of clothing that have already been washed or "compacted", so the next washing will not significantly reduce the clothing. In many cases, when you have natural fibers such as wool, cotton or laundry, the substance can be stretched because it is more economical to use less substances if you can get away with it. Washing these clothing and tumbling actions in the dryer causes the garments to return to their unopened form, resulting in smaller clothing.

Because it is useful to buy the size of clothing that is always useful after washing, you will notice that many fabrics, especially cotton jersey, are premature. This means that the fabric, instead of stretching, was first washed and pushed together in a process called compaction. The fibers are forced closer to each other and gradually relax home washing. This does not mean that the garment does not reduce at all, but is less reduced, especially with early washing, and will maintain the same size for much longer than clothing that is not preshrunek.

Finally, especially when the clothes are dried in a dryer, even preliminary clothing will reduce somewhat, with sufficient wash. To solve it, it is good to buy cotton clothing in a slightly larger size than you would normally need, especially garments from cotton jersey. Cotton pants, especially corduroy, are generally not preliminary and will gradually shorten during washing. Another notorious shrinking fabric is a cotton flannel. Always buy a nightgown of flannels of size or two larger than you think you need.

The

artificial fibers often eliminated the need for clothing to make it a pre -gear. For example, adding a sufficient amount of polyester to cotton will usually help to keep your shape and size because the polyester keeps its form better in washing. The disadvantage of polyester, nylonaa other artificial fibers are that they may not be so comfortable and are generally less breathable than natural fibers.

If you areReally crazy for cotton, wool or laundry and want to keep away from the threads like acrylic or polyester, look for labels that indicate that clothes are washable or boasts clothes. All clothing tends to wear better, lasts longer and keeps its size if you do not place it in the dryer. So if you have impersonal garments, consider dripping or line. Note that even pre -grip garments tend to shrink in the end, so you may want to follow this caution with any clothing for which you want to maintain the same shape, length or size.
