What are the best tips for trimming Viburnum?

A wide range of viburnum species and their numerous cultivars have the same requirements in which pruning is concerned. These deciduous and semi -semi -semi plants do not require and do not need a regular pruning regime to remain healthy and produce abundant flowers.
