What is Centaurea Montana?

Centaurea Montana is a scientific name for purple blue wild flower, which is originally from the southern mountains of Europe. Other common names for this flower include the bachelor button, Mountain Bluet, permanent Cornflower, Mountain Cornflower and Montane Knapweed. It is a rapidly spreading, durable, permanent plant that was traditionally known for several medicinal uses. It can be found in the wild and is also commonly grown in gardens.
