What are the characteristics of Secevy's dress?

The Arctuveau period lasted from the end of the 18th to the beginning of the 20th century, during which glass, throughout Europe and the United States became popular glass and a dress inspired by a movement inspired by a movement. The first styles of Art Nouveau dresses were a formal and decorative dress in the shape of long flares, high shoulders and lace ornaments. Later styles had a more relaxed cut, monitored the natural shape of the body and often used finer fabrics.

At the beginning of the movement, the dress in the section took a hint from later Victorian dresses. Dresses often showed immersed necklines with dramatic sleeves in the shape of a bell. The belts were cut to fit firmly into the boned corsets that were popular at the time, and when wearing the dress were given the shape of an hour. Long widespread skirt, often with a train, stretched from a tight line of the waist. The addition of lace was shells along the neckline and the lower skirt hem. Many dresses contained pearls, gold chain or various jewelry sewn along the cuff and neckline. CombinationE strong silk with patterned material was also popular.

As the movement progressed, the dress of the Secevy turned less. The invention of the letter -shaped corset averted the designer from a more formal shape of the hourglass and towards a more natural looking cut. This dress followed the natural curve of the female body and allowed more movement. Later styles still preferred the neckline, but the sleeves were shrinking and looking informal.

Along with a different shape, these dresses also contained softer materials and colors. Many later dresses in the section preferred light material and often used more lace in the main body of the dress. The softer materials caused these dresses to flow naturally than the earlier Aredveau style.

6 Bell sleeves and neckline were replaced by the built -in upper part of the suit and from the bottom of the upper part of the suit the long running skirts expanded. These suits often incorporated the same lace, fabricU and decorating jewelry and many of them had lace and silk brocade along the skirt and waist.
