What are the different ferret breeds?
Three different ferry breeds are European, Siberian and domestic. All three ferret breeds have the same general body description. The ferret has a soft fur that covers a long, slim body. Short legs with unsurpassed claws, flexible spine and long thick neck are also common body descriptions. Fur on the ferret's body grows vertically. All ferret breeds have a set of musk glands that send a strong, sometimes repulsive odor. This first type of ferret breed lives in large groups in forests and meadows. They are considered carnivores, so they usually feed on rodents, squirrels and other animals that can overcome. The life of the European ferret is approximately five to eight years.
at only £ 14-18 (35.56-45.72 cm) in length and weighing two to four pounds (0.91-1.81 kg), the European ferret seems small. The outer fur is brown to dark brown, while the sub -pack is a creamy tone of buff. White, creamy, yellowish patch is usually located around the mouth and nose with a dark brown tip on the nose.
As the name suggests, Siberian ferrets are commonly found in Siberia, but they can also live in China and Russia. Siberian ferret breeds live in grassland and arid areas. Their diet mostly carnivorous, their diet consists of marsupial, rabbits, eggs and birds. The Siberian ferret can generally expect a natural life of five to eight years. Like the European ferret, Siberias have a length of approximately 14-18 inches (35.56-45.72 cm) and can weigh anywhere from two to four pounds (0.91-1.81 kg).
The physical appearance is almost the same as the European ferret. One of the differences in the appearance of Siberian ferrets and European ferrets is that the head and the rear area are generally completely white. Thelebka Siberian ferrets seem harder than the European ferret.
Home ferrets are kept by private and commercial breeders. Instead of living in the wild, these ferrets are kept as pets or hunters, so usually livewith people. Unlike European and Siberian breeds, domestic people are mostly fed by foods that can be purchased from the veterinarian's office or even in a pet shop. Seven to 10 years is the average lifetime of a domestic ferret, but it is possible for the ferret to live at the age of 14 years.
Physical descriptions of domestic ferrets differ due to crossing. An adult male can grow to a length of £ 15.1-25.6 inch (38.4-65 cm) and weigh £ 1-1.55 (0.5-0.7 kg), sometimes less than women. On the other hand, an adult woman can grow to a length of 10.9-20.7 inches (27.7-53.6 cm) and weigh at 0.45-2.25 pounds (0.2-1 kg).
The appearance of the home ferret is based on five characteristics: zone and color of nose, outer coat, undercoat, bandit of mask and eye color. When these characteristics are mixed, three basic colors of home FRETS are formed: dark, reinders and Albino. Up to 30 different combinations of colors under Sablet, including champagne, silver and chocolate, were recorded.
