What are sisters?

sisters are large, fast growing trees that provide shelter to smaller trees and plants while growing. These trees are a critical part of forest ecology around the world, from the Amazon rainforest to the harmful alpine forests of Europe and are also environmentally important in some other regions such as the desert. In addition to being seen in the wild, nurses are sometimes used by gardeners who want to protect young plants in the early stages of growth to ensure that they end up strong and healthy. The first is shelter in front of the sun and distraction from predators, with many insects and similar predators who prefer feeding larger nurses. The sisters also protect younger plants from storms of wind and sand or dust and attract larger predators such as deer, allowing the gentle new growth of young plants to remain without a vengeful tree to grow. In a natural forest, a dead tree could naturally decompose, contribute to the accumulation of organic material in the forestand provide nutrition and shelter for numerous plants and animals. Deadwood is often cleaned in managed forests to reduce the risk of fire, and as a result the forest tends to be less dense and less diverse, because fewer species find the environment in which they can prosper.

In the forest, a sister tree can be different from a younger plant or a tree, or it can be the same species. It is not unusual to see how several plants compete for space and sources under the sisters, while one plant eventually worship the others by using the sources. Outside the forests, sisters are used by plants such as Saguaro Cactus, which roots and spend their young life in the shadow of the sister tree from the case of the nurse's tree by removing most of the resources available.

Sometimes gardeners create their own sisters by planting fine young plants in a shelter of an established tree. Mature tree protects the plant until it isSufficiently large to be successful in itself, and gives the garden a certain texture and depth at the same time. Some plants also prefer shady environments, so in a hot, sunny climate, the sister tree can allow the gardener to cultivate these plants.
