What are the different types of greenhouse parts?

There are two general categories of greenhouse parts. Structural parts, such as framing, wall cover and seal, form the building itself. Other parts such as heaters, irrigation, ventilation systems and growing accessories are used to maintain the optimal growing environment inside the greenhouse. Specific parts vary depending on the size and permanence of the structure, the climate in which the greenhouse will be, and the weather conditions will probably face the greenhouse.

Greenhouses are traditionally made of glass. The glass is easy to maintain, lasts a long time, has a clean appearance and allows a lot of light to penetrate the plants inside. The glass structure is relatively proof of the weather and maintains the level of heat and humidity inside. On the other hand, the glass is easily broken and requires a heavier, more important frame and the basis to support its weight. The initial cost of glass and the necessary support structure make the glass bridge an expensive type of greenhouse. It is light, strong and virtually unbreakable. SlobraThe fibers are clear, allowing light penetration and can be produced relatively resistant to the weather with tight seals. The disadvantage of glass fibers is that it degrades in about 10 to 15 years and the amount of light penetration over time decreases.

Plastic coverings with double wall for greenhouses are rigid leaves of double plastic with a strap in the middle. This type of coverage has the advantage of penetrating light almost the same as glass, but provides better insulation. Maintaining heat is particularly important in cold climate and can reduce heating costs.

plastic leaves and film plastic are lightweight, cheap and are available in different properties. They do not require a permanent, essential frame or base and are fast and easy to install. These cheaper options allow decent light penetration, minimal insulation and do not last for more than a few years.

greenhouse framing largely depends on the intended permanentThose structures, on the type of wall coverage it will support, and on environmental elements to face, such as strong winds, strong snow or hail. Traditional glass greenhouses are supported by steels, aluminum or wooden frames. Cheaper and less stable greenhouses can be made of PVC plastic pipes, metal tubes or thin wooden frames. The wall cover is usually attached to the frame with nuts and screws.

Depending on the climate and the season, the levels of temperature and humidity in the greenhouse may need to be controlled. Electric, gas, oil or solar heater can keep the plants warm and grow throughout the winter. In a warmer climate, maybe gardeners may have to cool down with fans, evaporator coolers or a shadow cloth. Air can also be reached with fans, holes and exhaust systems.

Once the greenhouse is built, there are many accessories that facilitate greenhouse gardening. Shelves, growing lights, floors, thermometers, trayY seeds, watering and tools for garden gardening are all common items in the greenhouse. Favorite types of irrigation include hoses, irrigation cans, fog sprayers, fogging, humidifiers, sprayers and automatic drop hoses.

The parts of the greenhouse are easily available in most house improvements. Special shops and retailers with the Internet also sell greenhouse parts. Some gardeners consider it appropriate to order a pre -assembled set containing all the necessary greenhouse parts directly from the greenhouse manufacturer.
