What are the different types of drum cases?

There are several different types of drums to protect your musical instrument. Three basic categories cover the most common choices. They include those that are case drums, those that are a case, and those that are bought, brushes, drumsticks and smaller hand accessories.

Most musicians and bands choose cases of hard shells that protect their tools, especially if they play regularly. There are also cheaper options soft shells and sometimes are part of the purchase of a percussion tool. However, they are not prepared on the road and should not rely on the protection of devices that are often transported.

There are several pieces on the drum kit, so the drum cases differ in size. The basic drum kit contains four pieces: bass drum or digging drum, snare, stand and flooring that can also be called low Tom. The bass drum is the largest drum and usually requires a housing with a diameter of 20 to 24 inches (51- to 61 cm). The Tom Base floor is traditionally 14 or 16 inch diameterThe (36 or 41 cm), while the most common snare size has a diameter of 14 inches (36 cm). Snare drum is the most important drum that protects because it requires the most wear of the stage.

Cymbalas can usually fit into one circular percussion case. Council cases for cymbals are usually the diameter of the driving cymbal, the largest cymbals in the basic drum set. Percussionists usually put hi-hats, crash and drive on the cymbal everything in one bag. These bags come in the form of a hard shell and soft shells. Small pockets are installed on the front side of a cymbal bag for small accessories such as drum keys and solving cymbal cleaning.

Drummers often carry the head of the backup drum in the case of cymbals if it should break during the show. Occasionally, large, rectangular cases for cymbal stands are used, but the cymbal stands are transported without a cover. Cases for stands on orNely are the hardest for transport.

The smallest types of drum cases are designed for drumsticks, drumsticks, brushes and accessories for other hand tools. They are traditionally 16 to 20 inches (41 to 51 cm) and a width of 5 to 10 inches (13 to 25 cm). Musicians often decide on the drum cases of soft-cuts for their sticks, because mallet and brushes are relatively cheap to replace. These cases of drums are very lightweight and can be connected to the floor for easy access during the performance.
