What is Bay Cat?
Bornean Bay's cat is a kind of wild cat from Borneo island land. Scientists have very little reliable information about biology, customs and behavior of this cat because it is obviously very rare. Scientists have only a few pictures of the animal and it is believed that the first chances of exploring the living sample did not come until 1992, when a very sick Borneo Bay cat was brought to the Sarawak National Museum. These wild cats are in fact so rare that from 2003 to the beginning of 2011 they believed to have died out until she caught a borneo bay cat in the wilderness. It is assumed that these cats reach average size comparable to the size of domesticated cats and are usually gray, red -brown or golden brown color.
It is assumed that this kind of cat jungle was first discovered in about 1874. Although it was once believed, the Žborneo Bay Cat was simply another type of Asian Golden Cat, ModernScience now believes that an animal is a separate species. Several samples that have been studied moved in color from brown to blue gray, with heads usually darker colors and underblocks of a lighter gold shade with pale spots. The typical Borneo Bay cat probably has black -stripes that stretch from the outer corners of the eyes, down the cheeks. Bruna is most likely always white and the tip of the tail is probably also usually white with a black dot at the very end.
Biologists suspect that the Borneo Bay cat prefers forested habitats, although it was also seen in the swamps and on the edges of the forests. It seems that the forests of the lowlands, so on Highland they suit this creature. These cats may prefer to live near the water.Scientists believe that the Borneo Bay cat is likely to reach an average length of about 3 feet (85 centimeters), including the tail. Samples that have been observed about 4 to 9 pounds (2 to 4 kilograms). These cats are likely to give birth to one to three kittens at once, after pregnancy on average75 days in length. Young cats are likely to mature sexually in one and a half to two years.
