What is a blue tiger?

Although many people believe it is a myth creation, a blue tiger can be a rare species of a large cat. Also known as the Maltese tiger would have a light gray color, which makes the animal almost blue. These types of tigers were reported only in human observations and no photos or videos of animals were recorded.

observation of blue tigers have been reported since the beginning of the 20th century. These blue cats can also be simply disappeared tigers, which is a lack of physical evidence for their existence. Observation reports vary in place, although most of them come from China, for example in Fujian province. If there are tigers, they are probably a subspecies of the South Chinese tiger. Other places where the blue tiger was reportedly seen is Burma and Korea.

people who report that they see a blue tiger called it many other names. Some villages referred to creatures as Blue Devils, and claimed that they were animals that eaten by a person who often persecuted the peoplei. This led to interest in a large cat of many hunters who unsuccessfully tried to find and kill Blue Tiger for his pelt. Some scientists say that during the sixties a blue tiger was born in Oklahoma. But there is no record, and many scientists believe that the animal was probably a pseudomelanist tiger or a black tiger whose stripes were very strong and close together.

cryptozoolologists continue to study and look for animals and hope to get some type of evidence that they are real. Some scientists believe that animals are an example of a non -threatening mutation resulting from genetics, similar to the color of an endangered white tiger. The recessive pair of alleles or forms of genes known as the Neagouti allele and the diluted allele is quoted as possible reasons for Coloratin's blue tiger, as well as several other alleles.

Home cats with this color such as Russian blue variety, help serve as evidence that such a color kThe eyes may exist in a larger form. If the blue tiger really existed, scientists say they would like to fade for any visible stripes because of their color. Blue examples of other wild cats such as Bobcats were also reported. The interest in hunting a tiger associated with the rarity of its recessive genes could explain its rarity or extinction.
