What is blueshirt?

Blueshirt is a common nickname for the New York Rangers, one of the oldest national hockey hockey teams. The term is now somewhat confusing, because the guards are not always dressed in blue and in fact they can wear white shirts walnut blue in certain games.

Initially, the player on New York Rangers was called Blueshirt Broadway. It may be because Broadway is close to Madison Square Garden, where Rangers play home games. The Rangers were also known as a very elegant team when they started playing for the first time.

They tended to attract Broadway stars and a higher class to games because of their class reputation and also for their skill in the game. In the first sixteen years, the guardian or blueshirt players missed only one play -off as an organized team.

Often, the term blueshirt applies not only to players but also to team coaches and team managers. Basically, if someone works for the New York Rangers, One is Blueshirt. The fan could also be considered blueshirt.

Alternately, the term blueshirt can be used as opposed to the red Jersey Devils, a competitive hockey team existing in close proximity to the Rangers. Until 1982, however, in New Jersey did not become devils.

Often, blueshirt, whether player or worker, is quite respectful, because the New York Rangers were one of the original six teams in the National Hockey League. Wayne Gretzky, probably one of the biggest hockey players, decided in 1996-1999 he decided to play his last few years as Blueshirt. When he retired, the National Hockey League also retired throughout the league.

Referring to Blueshirt he hears back to the origin of American ice hockey. This can trigger a heated debate on the team's success now, or just evoke Nestalgia about the many successes of New York Rangers. Blueshirt is a member of a team with a history that means its own class for sports fans.
