What is the bonsai forest?

Bonsai Forest is carefully layered and aesthetically designed a group of miniaturized trees or bonsai, planted in a container to look the forest. The focus of the Bonsai forest, unlike the only bonsai, is more of an arrangement as a whole than in the style of an individual tree. This can be achieved by changing the height of each plant so that it reflects different ages of trees in the forest or by using different techniques to provide plants different style, such as dead wood, living trees or others. Bonsai garden cultivators tend to use the same types of trees in the same pot, although some create mixed forests.

preparation for planting the Bonsai Forest includes first the development of a general outline of the forest. This is usually a time -consuming process, during which the cultivator not only has to think about how Aphruška's trees should have at present, but also how they will grow in their positions in the future. Trees are usually savedAdes to create perspective, sometimes by planting larger trees in front of smaller ones to create an illusion of a forest that disappears to a distance. Then the gardener must decide on the number of trees to be used, even if it is a traditionally odd number and types of accessories that need to be provided, such as stones or water. Once the trees are planted, they must be secured in their position to prevent the forest from being relocated. This can be done by means of conductors that hold the roots of the trees to the bottom of the pot.

Care for the Bonsai Forest is similar to the care of one bonsai. The minimum requirements are careful watering, fertilization and suitable sunlight. Watch new growth because it's a sign that trees are doing well. Pruning is necessary to maintain the overall appearance and the whole bonsai forest should be regularly transplanted: every two years when it is young and every three to five years old. At this point, the roots have grown together and the whole arrangement should be considered one plant.

Bonsai Forest is a great addition to any house and a natural step for every Bonsai enthusiast. It brings a completely new level of complexity and interest of the art of bonsai.
