What is the buoy?

Boy is a device that is designed to float on the water, either in an open ocean or in a navigation channel such as a bay or a river. The Buoys are used in navigation for hundreds of years and serves a number of functions, from warning systems to navigators' warning to danger, such as cliffs, to data collection facilities for government weather agencies such as National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in the United States. If you have ever visited the sea, you probably saw the buoys. All over the world, buoy is used as navigation elements that help people find risks, ports and other interests or concerns. According to the international agreement, buoy around the world uses the same color codes and symbols to ensure that they can generally understand.

In a heavily traded area, the buoys can be used to indicate transport lanes, which ensures that ships know where to go and reduce the risk of collisions. Booy can also be used as anchoring device, allowing ships to anchor, without having to be attached to the dock. Some divers and occasional sailors use anchoring buoys to anchor their ships while sinking, swimming or fish.

The

buoys are also very valuable as scientific devices. Many nations use buoys to collect ocean and weather data, provides weather forecasts and learn more about regional weather conditions. Boy's data is usually broadcast on a public radio frequency in favor of surfers, swimmers and sailors who might want to know about unusually high swelling or the coming storms.

Boyje can also be used as part of tsunami warning system. Buoys usually monitor changes in water level and sudden decline that can signal tsunami will usually lead to fast communication with the central monitoring center, allowing agencies to warn people of the incoming tsunami and storm overvoltagei. Thanks to years of collection data in some parts of the world, the buoys can determine whether the water level is a reason for concern or not.

Many buoy has bells, corners or lights that help with navigation. Belled buoy is useful because they do not require any strength to operate and can be heard when they cannot be seen, which can be useful along the foggy, dangerous costs. Some buoys have fogging that are able to project over long distances to warn sailors of cliffs, hey and rocky coasts.
