What is Chinese hibiscus?

Chinese ibiscus, or hibiscus rosa-sinensis, is a member of the Malvaceae family. It is an evergreen, woody permanent fly, which comes from East Asia. Commonly known as the China Rose Flower or Shoes are often grown as a plant plant. While red, individual flowers are the most common, there are hundreds of other cultivars. These include double and disheveled types of flowers in shades of pink, yellow, orange and white.

It is closely related to the Mallow family, this decorative plant has bell -shaped flowers that resemble Hollyhock and Cotton plants. It also looks like Rose of Sharon Shrub. All varieties of Chinese hibiscus flowers are without a center. The flowers are short -term, lasting only a day or two, but they are made continuously.

Chinese hibiscus can grow up to 15 feet (4.5 meters) in a natural environment. However, it can be limited to the ground every spring to maintain smaller and more manageable. As a plant in a pot, it reaches a maximum of 6.5 feet (2 meters) high. Whether in a pot orIn the ground, the plant should usually be cut in the spring. Hardy only in areas where temperatures do not drop below 45 degrees Fahrenheit (13 degrees Celsius), has a tropical hibiscus. Adding honey or sugar can be tastier.

Numerous studies have found that regular drinking of Chinese tea hibiscus effectively reduces blood pressure and cholesterol levels. It can also help prevent heart disease with regular use. It is also used to prevent both bladder infections and constipation.
