What is the dehumidifier?
The dehumidifier pulls the humidity out of the air by condense it onto the cold surface. Have you ever poured a cold glass of water on a hot, humid summer day? If you have, you saw a glass of moisture. This is because when the air cools down, it cannot maintain its moisture. If you leave the glass on the table long enough and if the air is moist enough, a large puddle of water is formed. The same happens in the air conditioning when the humidity in the room condenses on cold coils of air conditioning. You will notice that if it is a window unit, the water drips from behind the unit to the ground. Dehumidifier is therefore just an air conditioning that has its hot and cold coils in the same box. First, the fan attracts the air air through the cold air conditioning coil to condense moisture. Furthermore, dry air passes through a hot coil to warm it back to the original temperature.
If you have a room that is air -conditioned, the Need dehumidifier should not - the air conditioning should do dehumidification for you. But if you don't have air conditionerACI, dehumidifier is at least a help in heat.
Here are some tips you remember to keep your dehumidifier at the tip:
- Do not forget to change the filter once a year to make your machine running at optimum power.
- From time to time, clean the water container to prevent the minerals in the pan.
- Check the cooling coils to accumulate frost or ice as it can destroy the machine.
- Do not abandon the cooling system-it means that it does not turn it off and then turned on again. Wait at least ten minutes to compensate for the pressure in the system.
- You do not build humidistat higher than necessary or run constantly.
