What is a field cultivator?
Field cultivator is an attachment of a tractor that is used to prepare the field for planting. Field cultivators are produced by a number of companies that produce agricultural tools and are sold directly through sellers and agricultural tools. Sometimes it is possible to pick up the used field cultivator in auction or selling a farm that can be much cheaper than investing in a new field cultivator.
The purpose of any cultivator is to prepare the soil for planting by digging deep into the soil to turn and mix the topsoil. This process releases nutrients, removes clusters and clots of soil and aerates the soil so that the roots have space for spread. The use of a cultivating also eliminates weeds and cleans the soil to reduce the competition of air, water, sunlight and nutrients. Cultivation is classically performed before any planting for soil preparation so that the plants are as healthy as possible.
In the case of a field cultivator, the attachment is pulled behind the tractor,to work on the attic. The height of the cultivator can be modified by hydraulics to hit the desired soil depth. In addition to soil work, the cultivator of the field is also able to work the remains of crops from the last crop grown in the field back into the ground. This helps to condition the soil and in addition to restricting fields for planting. Field cultivators also help with weed control and cleanse the path for planting.
Some training is necessary to use the field cultivator. The operator must be a convenient control of the tractor and must be familiar with the process used to adjust the cultivator to the desired height. Operators must also know when to grow and a suitable depth for the crop. On particularly large farms, more people can be outdoors with cultivating simultaneously to ensure the fields are ready for planting in time.
A special type of cultivator of a field known as a cultivator of a series of crops is designed for use in the field, while crops grow. This implementation grows only between lines, turns the soil to removeNile weeds and kept the lines clean. In addition to maintaining neat fields, cultivators in the field also reduce the competition of resources by preventing weeds from shading growing crops or intake of nutrients from the soil before the crops have a chance to access them.
