What is a fire ant?
Fire Ant is one of the more than 280 species of stinging ants common to many parts of the world. These small, copper ants with a dark belly gained the name of an intense burning feeling caused by their stabs. Firefighters are extremely aggressive and swarm quickly and attack anything or anyone who disrupts the nest of fire. They can kill other insects, small animals, livestock and even cause death in humans if the victim is unhappy enough to be allergic to fire toxin ants. The queen can lay over 1,500 eggs a day and lives from two to seven years. Her nestilized eggs turn into a winged man with whom she can pair, although shortly afterwards friends are dying. Fertilized eggs become unripe queens and female workers who can also become soldiers, guards or excavators. One fire ant can be supported by several queens, unusual among the species Ant.
Fire Ant Eggs are stored in the chambers inside the colony that tends to young workwhose. Eggs hatch into helpless larvae, dependent on food and protection workers. The fire ant has two stomachs, one to digest food for itself, the other to regurgitate food to feed the larvae or share with others. Firefighter anti can change jobs as needed, or as ants are getting old. Workers have lived for about six months.
guard ants or soldiers pull out the entrance to the nest, standing tracking for intruders or danger when workers come and leave. The oldest and most found workers of fire are fors and travel to the furthest of the nest (up to 100 feet or 33 meters) into a dangerous area in search of food. When they are successful, they leave a chemical trail as they pull the food back to the nest. Others follow the track to the food source and leave their own chemical experiments and strengthen the way. Once the food source is gone, Thstezka is no longer strengthened and the chemical aroma disappears.
Fire Ant Colony is built underground and can extend five feet (1.52 m) to a depth. Normally, the crown is invisible under fallen wood, rocks, a sidewalk or other cover, but in an open field it appears as a large hill of up to 15 inches (38 cm) in height.
Disruption of nest or hills causes the ants to mount the fire attack and climb to the limbs of the intruder. Once it is, the fiery ant uses its mandibly to bite into the meat to catch the victim. This bite hurts, but it's a belly that shoots a burning toxin into the victim. The firefighter's ant can hold with its jaws, then turn the body in the arch and stab again and again in a circular pattern. Toxin is piperidine, the same alkaloid that gives black pepper its bite.
Bite from fire can develop a wilderness or white head, even if it is better not to choose or scratch on these bites because they can easily scrape.
