What is the French bulldog?

French Bulldog is a breed licensed by an American kennel (AKC) as an unsportsmanlike breed. From the English Bulldogs, the "French" brought to France in the 19th century by English lace manufacturers working in Normandy, France. These English appreciated smaller bulldogs for their society more than the combat skills of larger English bulldogs. The breed was first introduced to the United States in 1896 at Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and remained a popular breed for its playful, kind and carefree behavior.

Like other types of bulldogs, the French Bulldogs are a heavy, compact building. They are short and stocky, small to medium figures and usually weigh 16 to £ 28 (7-12 kg). Their heads are large and square and are flat between their signature "bats of bat". Their eyes are wide and low on their head. French bulldogs should be hard and have hind legs that are slight longer than their overDays of the foot. Their coats are short and their skin is slightly loose around their shoulders, neck and face, resulting in wrinkles.

Although the French bulldog can come in different colors and characters, AKC allows French only with run -down, white, wheel coats or a mixture of these three. Their tails are short and straight or "screwed".

The French bulldog is a lively excellent social dog, which is playful, loyal and carefree. Their overall good temperament makes them an excellent choice as a family dog, but they should be trained and held inside. Their shortened muzzle and face make it difficult to regulate their body temperature, so the exercise should be less energetic and the temperature should be carefully alleviated.

Like many purebred dogs, the French bulldog suffers from many congenital diseases or conditions.Rothable soft and cleft palata (which lead to breathing problems), esophageal disorders and backbone and back problems. Their type of body requires French bulldogs to be delivered by caesarean section.

The small French bulldog has an interesting history and was a symbol of the state and even an alternative lifestyle. French prostitutes were interested in Little Bouledognes Francais, made a sharper choice for the European elite. Among the owners of "celebrities" of French bulldogs are eccentric artist Lautrec and King Edward VII.
