on the sandy yard in tropical waters and Africa and Australia. Thin fish similar to the tube, the garden eels use their tails with a hard tip to plunge into the ground and create burrows. Slime from their skin sticks sand in the hole in place. Once the lair is made, the eel rarely leaves it completely and emerges half or two -thirds of the journey from the hole to feed and mate.

yellow eyes, these eel can be up to 23.6–27.5 inches (60-70 cm) long. The type Hassi is covered with black spots, as well as three larger spots, one on the upper, middle and lower part of the body. Males are largerthan women and have a more protruding jaw.

feeding by zooplankton, the garden eel captures his food when he carries in the stream of the ocean. In one meal, an eel can eat up to 600 zooplankton. The biggest men in the colony will have their burrows where the current is strongest to be in the best position for feeding.

The garden eel can leave its burrows during the friction period, but only to approach the elected friend. As soon as the man moves, he will defend the woman from other potential suitors. During mating, both eel are joined together, while their lower bodies remain in their individual burrows.

After fertilization, the egg is released into the stream. Eggs and larvae float in a stream near the open ocean surface until the young ears large enough to swim down on the sandy floor and create their own burrows. The mature eel is completely black.

Garden eels for people don'tThey are threatened and in fact held as pets in aquariums of salt water. However, care for these animals is difficult because the eels need not only the stream inside the tank to move food, but also deep sandstones (15.24 cm) of sand. There is also a large enough space that would allow men to separate, because men who are forced to live too carefully will fight.
