What is a golden retriever?
Gold Retriever is a breed of dogs developed in the UK to obtain birds during hunting. Gold retrievs are medium to large dogs with gold medium coat. The coat can be a creamy gold color or a stronger shade of gold. Today, golden retrievers are popular as family pets, as well as exhibition districts and service dogs. It was first registered as Golden Flatcoat in 1908, but until 1920 the breed was known as the Golden Retriever.
