What is a gray wolf?

Gray wolf or gray wolf ( Canis lupus , also known as a wooden wolf, or simply a wolf, is the largest wild canide, with a height ranging from 0.6 to 0.95 m (26-38 inches) and weight from 20 to 65 kg (44-150 lb).
