What is a hole in one?
A hole in one is a golf term that indicates that the golfer hit the ball from the tee to successfully reach the green and overturned into a cup, all in one move. Also referred to as "Acing and a hole", it is the most difficult possible shot. More commonly, it is common for three or more strokes to achieve successful and sinking the ball. This is called par for the hole. For example, the "vapor of the hole" is evaluated to require a maximum of three blows. There are also holes "par four" and "par five". This in itself shows how special a hole in one is really!
tee-off or the starting point is a place where the golfer takes the first swing by driving the ball down the navigation runway . At the end of the navigation runway is green . This roughly circular area is chopped closer than the Thzbyt of the course, which is visually distinguishable. Once the green, the golfer must put into a hole or cup by taking relatively short moves.
The length of the navigation pathway and the degree of difficulty changes between the holes. Professional courses are the longest and most demanding courses. The trap of sand, lakes, trees, ground pitch and "dog legs" increase the difficulty factor, which in many cases practically makes a hole in one virtually impossible impossible. But many golfers still score below par.
If the golfer sinks the ball in one move under par, it is called birdie . If it's lucky to get two blows under par, it's called eagle . On a few five holes it is possible to get three blows under the par to make the hole just two blows. This is called double eagle . Fewer moves than that and you have a hole in one.
More often one could see a stroke of par or bogie . Two strokes over par are double bogie and three blows, triple bogie . Although it is exciting to get a hole in one, a par shooting is a very decent score. All that is pFrom the "couple for course", it is exceptional and even a few strokes over vapor is a good score for non -professionals.
"long course" has eighteen holes, while some people play nine holes referred to as "short course". The completion of the course is referred to as the "Golf round". The score on each hole is added all over the round, while the lowest score wins the bike. The hole in one helps keep the overall score lower.
According to Golf Digest , the longest hole in one on a direct shot goes to Robert Miter, who in 1965 covered 447 yards (408.7 meters) from the tees to a cup. In fact, he couldn't see the flag from the tee of the 10. A slight rise, followed by a steep FVS, all prevents sight. Reportedly, Miter realized he got into the hole when he reached the green and told him a group of players ahead. Mitera's ACED Hole, for the first time recorded as 444 yards, but again measured in 1972, remains a Guinness world record.
