What is Hornet?
Hornet is some of a number of large social wasps that live in North America, Asia and Europe. Hornets usually live in wooded areas and create their homes in nests, which consist of many hexagonal cells and are made of a combination of chewed wood and plant fibers. These nests are built in the spring of the female queen and serve the only purpose of increasing other hornets. The queen puts eggs in each cell and takes care of this egg when they hatch into the larvae. Then it feeds them with a diet of protein -rich insects until each larva is changed on a hornet. At the end of the summer, the nest can be as large as the basketball and the home of the Colony of Hundreds of Hornets. Finally, in the autumn, new queens are born together with new men, the purpose of which is to connect with the queen. Then the new Queens finds a place for hibernation for the winter and starts the cycle again.
When searching for food, Hornets's workers feed primarily on tEcutines rich in carbohydrates such as tree sap. It is also known to hunt other insects, including flies and other vulnerable hornets and bees. When searching for food during warmer months, it is also known that Hornets collect water and put it in the nest to keep it cool.
Hornet will often be aggressive when provoked and stabs. Hornet sting can be poison, and at the same time cause pain and swelling, and the amount of sting toxicity can vary greatly between Hornets. One of the particularly dangerous aspects of Hornets is their ability to mobilize their entire nest and attack the intruders as a group. Popular Hornet species include the European Hornet, known for its black and yellow color, bald hornet, which has a white face and an air yellow jacket that differs from a real yellow jacket.
